Never Lose Ur Value...

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $500/- note in the room of 200, He asked, " Who would like this 500 note?" Hands Started going up.

He said, " I am going to give this note to one of you But first let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the note up.

He then asked, " Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air. "Well," he replied, " What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground

And started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, Now all crumpled and dirty. " Now who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air. " My friends, you have all learned a very valuable Lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $ 500/-.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.

We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will Happen, You will never lose your value. You are special don't ever forget it!

Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.

End of an Era: Andre Agassi

I feel a bit sad today coz the era of domination in Men's Tennis came to a close. The time from Boris Becker to Pete Sampras to finally Andre Agassi. I will miss them, those were my teenage idols.
I love this note from Andre Agassi. ''I don't take pride in my accomplishments,'' he said. ''I take pride in the striving.''

Game Theory (A friend of mine wrote this, it applicable to my life for sure!)

In terms of the game theory, we might say the universe is so constituted as to maximize play.

The best games are not those in which all goes smoothly and steadily toward a certain conclusion, but those in which the outcome is always in doubt.

Similarly, the geometry of life is designed to keep us at the point of maximum tension between certainty and uncertainty, order and chaos. Every important call is a close one. We survive and evolve by the skin of our teeth.

We really wouldn't want it any other way !!

Butterflies

Girls are like Butterflies. They grow out to be beautiful. They love attention and attracting people. Just like Butterflies they fly away when you get close to them fast. But if you approach them cautiously you may be able to catch them off-guard.
If you don't pay attention to them, they try to get your attention by flying around you. Once in a while they even decide to hang on to you.

Why is it that people like to take advantage of others but don't like it when someone takes advantage of them?

What do I plan to do with this Blog

I basically would like to throw out my thoughts and get feedback from people. I figure thinking aloud and some one like you (who likes listening) can start a discussion or idea or something which makes both of us more aware and open to new Ideas. While one may agree , disagree or partially both with other's opinion. It is clear to me that ultimately we get to learn more.
